THIS IS OUR STORY…

We have not always been Old Whitten Tavern (OWT). In 1981 Charlie Grisham opened Goodtime Charlie’s on Old Summer Road. The establishment was small, friendly, and possessed one kick-ass pizza – ‘The Charlie’s Special’. It was simple, it consisted of six popular ingredients that have withstood the test of time. In 2007 Ronnie and Bonnie Coletta took over Goodtime Charlie’s and they continued to use the recipe for business success that was set forth by Charlie Grisham. Ronnie and Bonnie have been an integral part in our transformation to Old Whitten Tavern.

As of 2020 – 2021 OWT has taken on new challenges and a remodel. We are now 100% smoke-free and all ages are welcome. We pride ourselves on fresh made to order food, great service and a friendly environment. We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and on the weekends a very special brunch menu. We have one of the largest Whiskey selections around and a huge menu of classic cocktails. OWT has changed over the last few years but we have always strived to bring delicious food and a great place to hang with friends and family. Come on OWT and we look forward to meeting you.
